? Evaluate companies on their key environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) risks and opportunities, support investment analysts and portfolio managers in understanding the investment implications

? Conduct proprietary thematic research on ESG topics and trends and publish original ESG research papers, e.g. emerging ESG issues/industry trends, financial materiality of ESG factors

? Support investment research analysts in understanding ESG research methodology and materiality of key ESG metrics

? Support external responsible investment reporting obligations and ESG industry events, e.g. annual PRI report, Green Finance Committee

? Contribute to ESG assessment framework and methodology improvements

? Conduct quantitative research and analysis of the financial impact of ESG metrics, work with the quantitative team in developing quant ESG strategies

Location: Beijing/Hong Kong

? 1-3 years of relevant work experience in environmental, social and corporate governance related research, or investment research that includes exposure to ESG related investment issues or products, or relevant public policy or academic or NGO experience

? Comprehensive understanding of asset management and financial markets, with the ability to demonstrate the investment relevance of ESG issues

? Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Mandarin are essential

? Experienced at presenting research results in internal and public settings

? Strong communication and teamwork skills

? Quantitative analysis and data mining skills will be very highly regarded

? Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Environmental Science or relevant majors, advanced degree in related field or CFA qualification is preferred
